In the top photo, the little goat is looking around the cliff, like he can't believe where he is, and how on earth will he get out of there? It would make a great painting! These little guys follow their mothers no matter how frightening it must seem to them.

It was a magical experience to spend time on the mountain with these goats. Just so you know, we're very careful not to disturb them, you can see how contented they are in the photos. We use a long lens and we're very quiet when we're with them. They do like to be talked to, and it seems they're visiting with you while you are there.

Any wild animal can be dangerous, but the gentleness of these creatures and the love they show for each other is awesome. I hope that shows through in the paintings you create from these photos.

We went for a short drive tonight, to see if the truck was running right after Robert tuned it up. The truck was running fine, and we got some cute photos. A coyote ran along side us for a ways, and a badger happened to be out hunting!
